This is the one account that was created in outlook using IMAP but had login errors.

I saw something on this in my searches. To answer your question about Spectrum supporting I really don’t know. If that is in fact the issue what do I need to do to enable it? Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. I have tried using IMAP but it still doesn’t login to my account or receive mail. The account seems to get created but is unusable.

Is there a reason POP isn’t available? Depends on what Charter supports. Charter’s own pages make no mention of POP. I found some historical pages that indicate Charter didn’t support encryption for POP connections, which would be disaster from a security perspective. Are you using the same address and password you use when you log into your mailbox with a web browser? I would assume so, but I thought I’d ask. Sorry, missed part of your response.

I have used: mail. Thanks, Mark. Does Charter support two-factor authentication and do you have it enabled, if so? If it was supported and you had it enabled, that could produce the symptoms you see. If you don’t know anything about it, then it’s probably not a factor. Alas, I’m at a loss. There are plenty of others here, though, so perhaps someone else will have a suggestion.
