[SOLVED] Office installation stuck at 51%

Hi All,. I am trying to install Office on one of our computers (Work computer) and it got stuck at 51% for 2 hours. Go to the Microsoft subscription page and log in. Click Install Office. A window opens to confirm that you wish to download and install.

When you install Office , all the applications that came with your particular Office product is installed at the same time. If you previously installed the bit version of Office on your PC, but decide you now want the bit version, you’ll have to uninstall bit and then reinstall the bit version of Office.

To uninstall the bit version use this easy fix to uninstall Office. If you can’t find Access on your computer even though its included with your Office subscription, try the following in the order listed.

Note: Access can only be installed on computers running Windows 7 or later. You can’t install Access on a Mac. When the update is complete, click Start and look for Access in your list of apps.

Be sure to check the System requirements for Office. For example, you can’t install Office on computers running Windows Vista or Windows XP, or on devices that aren’t running a supported Windows or Mac operating system. However, you may still be able to use Office Online in your computer’s browser.

If Office is taking a long time to install you may be on a slow connection or you another install or update may be happening in the background. If you’re installing Office on a PC desktop, laptop, or 2-in-1 , try these solutions in the order listed. The Office installation may have completed. So, after you’ve restarted your computer, go to Can’t find Office applications in Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7? If Office did not install, try to reinstall after switching to a wired connection. This can help speed up the installation because a wired connection is usually faster than a wireless one.

After that, restart the Office installation. The Office offline installer may help bypass potential proxy, firewall, antivirus, or Internet connection issues that might occur during an Office installation. From the My Account screen, begin the install of 32bit version of Office No network activity. Stopped task, uninstalled, rebooted, tried to install twice with same страница. Tried a number of times. Stuck on “streaming” with no progress in progress bar for many hours multiple times.

I tried the instructions above except “virtual machine”–because I don’t know what that is and it sounds intimidating and lengthy–just being honest ; but I still have the same stuck results.

I had the same issue. I am installing on a secondary “test laptop” as installing microsoft office professional plus 2016 stuck free software developer. I also have Windows 10 Preview installed. I would encourage anyone considering these previews to frse the fact that they are prone to bugs and should not be loaded to a production, or primary computer.
